Legacy EAP is dedicated to providing exceptional mental health and support services to enrich the workplace. We specialize in offering short-term counseling, comprehensive assessments, and empowering educational resources to promote the well-being of organizations and their employees. Our mission is to prioritize mental wellness and create a supportive environment that fosters a healthier and more productive workplace for all individuals.

We are Certified Employee Assistance Professionals who have a wide range of skills and training to support clients from all walks of life.

CEO
Dr Louis Belva
Dr Belva has his doctorate in ministry and has been counseling for over 30 years. His purpose for starting Legacy 15 years ago was to put faith-based professionals in positions to meet the needs of the people they serve.

President/CEAP/SAP
Rachel Houghton
Our president Rachel has been counseling for 9 years and runs both of the Legacy offices. Her passion and focus is educating the community on the importance of mental health as well as training and equipping leaders within the workplace. She also hold Substance Abuse Prevention Training.

CEAP
Kiya Piper
Kiya has a degree in psychology and training in behavioral health. She has experience working with kids teens, and adults in managing stress and anxiety as well as behavioral disorders. Her passion is helping people live fully free and fully alive.

Dewayne Taylor
Dewayne has been working in ministry for over 20 years and has experience in marriage and family counseling. He focuses on working with people through anxiety and healthy conflict resolution.

Social Worker
Maria Ortiz
Maria has her Master's Degree in social work and over 6 years of experience with Legacy. Her specialty is Child and Family Advocacy and she works part-time as a case manager for Legacy and Hamilton Medical Center. Maria is bilingual and has a passion for helping families receive quality care.

Julia Guerrero
Julia got her Master's Degree in Social Work in 2018 with an emphasis in Child and Family Advocacy. She works for both Legacy and Hamilton Medical Center as a case worker. Julia brings her passion for helping others into her work and is always looking for ways to strengthen families.

Thorough Evaluations
Our assessments involve comprehensive evaluations to identify mental health needs and provide tailored recommendations for individual and organizational growth. We focus on supporting employees with inter-workplace relationships and personal issues.
We also support employers in caring for their employees and reducing absenteeism and turnover.
Educational Presentations.
We offer educational workshops and resources to raise awareness about mental health, cultivate resiliency, and promote personal growth. Our goal is to equip companies and employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to prioritize mental well-being in the workplace.
